Castera exhibits

Opening of the exhibition on June 24 at 6 p.m.

From June 1 to September 30 2021, Château Castera will host the exhibition by painter Victoria Stagni entitled
“Magical animals, tragic climates”

Born in Buenos-Aires from a Paraguyan father and an Argentinian mother, Victoria Stagni apprenticed in oil painting with Pierre Lafage (graduate of Fine Arts in Paris and Bordeaux) in the Atelier of the Beaux-arts de Bordeaux. At the same time, she set up her workshop in the Chartrons district.

In 2018, Victoria Stagni exhibited at the Bernard Magrez Cultural Institute and since then several of these works have joined her Private Collection.

Victoria Stagni stages herself in remarkable works mixing dream and reality. Animals and their symbolism are preponderant in her artistic work and refer us to our own place in this sometimes friendly, often threatening nature, which we must share and protect.
