Castera Sens Jazz – 2nd of June 2018

The 2^nd June 2018, in partnership with Music Action en Médoc, Château Castera organises its CASTERA SENS JAZZ.

Starting at 2 p.m. (free entrance), the public has the possibility to participate in a musical nap in the gardens of the Château. Sitting on deckchairs or lying on a blanket, the idea is simple: decompress on the soft sounds of jazz in an idyllic setting.

Guided tours of the medieval tower and the cellars will be organised in mid-afternoon.

Highlight of the day at 8.30 p.m. with a concert in the company of the wonderful Mickael Chevalier Trio (single tariff 10 €).

Trumpeter, fluegelhornist and a brilliant composer, Mickael Chevalier flies around the world to play on the most prestigious jazz festivals since 2010. For our biggest pleasure, he will be in company of two well known musicians from the Bordeaux region: Hervé Saint Guirons (organ) and Roger “Kemp” Biwandu (drums).
